Hello everyone,

I think nobody really expected this to still happen - least of all me - but I'm finally posting the missing part of the Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital layout, which I promised to do in November 2007 <cough... uhm...>

It includes House's office and conference room, Wilson's office, lobby, clinic, Cuddy's office, cafeteria, ER and Radiology...

I worked on this layout during season 2 and 3 and then abandoned it, because after endless hours and weeks of rewinding, pausing, capturing, drawing, re-drawing and watching some more, it became apparent, that the main set just changed too often and had too many variable pieces from episode to episode. After all, that's what directors will do: to avoid a set becoming 'stale', they find ways to change it and shoot it in a way that will give the illusion that there's a lot more, than there actually is. I thought I'd never get a version, that wouldn't be instantly contested by watching a random episode, where the walls just happened to be standing somewhere else.

After getting some inquiries over time, about what had become of the missing layout, I decided to kick my on-obsessiveness-bordering perfectionism where it hurts, and simply post what's basically been sitting on my hard drive ever since. I only added some notes.

Since this layout is a couple of years old, It does not include some changes that have been made since:  the re-sizing of House and Wilson's offices and main corridor,  the extension of the ER, Cuddy's bathroom, where the entrance to her courtyard used to be (though I did add a little graphic), some work that was done in the staircase area, etc... And lets ignore season 1 completely, please.

So while this was very nit-picky at the time (and I only barely escaped permanently crossed eyes from staring at paused videos), today this should simply give you a general idea of what the set - not the hospital - looks like, standing on the FOX lot.

my little disclaimer: I have no inside knowledge and have never been to the set. I'm just a very devoted House viewer with good spatial perception. I did my best, but of course mistakes are always possible.

p.s.: If you are wondering, why I basically wrote all this shit on the image as well, it's because nobody every seems to link back here, but just *takes* images for re-posting. I wanted to keep the explanation stapled to it, so to speak.
