This is such a cool project. I've been lurking here every now and then and thought I should come out and tell you. I just love that there are people like you, picking up on different things and details in the show and organizing this stuff. House's shirts and shoes are an integral part to his character somehow and I'm always happy to get more on that. So, congrats indeed! :-)

I agree that House's wardrobe is part of who he is. When I re-watch season 1 episodes, it's actually kind of jarring (in retrospect) when he shows up wearing a sky blue turtleneck or something. That's just wrong. LOL.

Hee! I distinctly remember the blue turtleneck in "Histories", but checking your list I see that there also were some black ones in other episodes. The only thing that seems just wrong to me now is the incredibly long coat he was wearing in "Paternity", though. Maybe one could make the case that he was a lot more guarded and hiding himself in season 1. *g*

Oh, the coat... I remember. I think they were trying to go for the baggy/sloppy look (as in: not caring what he looks like).

I'm so glad that the show found the 'look' for him eventually. And he looks undeniably hot in two of his other (shorter) coats... the black one with the mis-matched button and the brownish one. Yum.

Didn't like the bluish/gray one, but I think he wore that only once. Shame on me, I can't remember which ep without looking for it.

Yeah. I was wondering if they didn't realize his "hot" potential until later on, but this screencap of yours from the second episode seems to contradict that idea. Hm.

A bluish/gray coat? There I'm lost...
